For Nigeria's 63rd independent Day celebration, @applemusic has revealed the 5 fastest rising Nigerian artists on its platform. 1. @seyi_vibez The poetic genius is a renowned singer/songwriter well known for his single “God Sent.” Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, is an intriguing and brilliant Nigerian performer whose style combines engaging and emotive lines with melodic sound infusion to capture any audience in his home tongue, Yoruba. 2. @odumodublvck Born in Lagos and raised in Abuja, Nigeria, ODUMODUBLVCK is one of the most exciting voices out of the country's capital in the last decade. As we share the same values, it was natural that we joined forces. Thanks to @nandosrsa for keeping our team ‘going’ fired up’ with delicious assortment of lunch options including vegan! Both the local and international members of the ARMC team got to enjoy the taste of South Africa’s most loved flame grilled chicken, added our very own founder @sj.nicholson .

It’s not just a Tuesday but it’s a “Now You Know Tuesday”. The first day of @mtnbushfire , we asked some artists a few questions before they were set to perform, and @megatronicuk was one of them. We touched on anxiety with her and how to deal with it. The most natural way to deal with performance anxiety is to breathe deeply, slowly, and rhythmically.You should practice this technique until it becomes a deeply ingrained habit – just like moving your foot from the accelerator to the brake.You need to develop confidence that taking a few moments to breathe deeply and slowly will change your physiology (your heart rate, your blood oxygen levels, and your muscle tension) and, in turn, relax your mental state. How do you deal with anxiety before a performance or stepping on stage?

JMI Global provides something for everybody, sparking collaboration and exchange to make a greater impact on the world through music.The JMI Annual General Assembly will take place on the 21st and 22nd of September 2023 in the Manna Resort, bringing together the JM International network from around the world to advance the global youth and music agenda. It is the democratic heart of the organization, deciding on statutory issues, holding elections for its various program bodies and shaping the future of the movement. It is also a moment for members to connect and engage, recharge, be inspired and share best practices from around the globe. Participants enjoyed the very first ‘Start From Scratch’ workshops conducted in South Africa in partnership with @bridgesformusic. Led by expert trainers, attendees learned essential DJ skills and honed their craft. The conference ended on a high note with a remarkable fundraising dinner at Marabi club, supporting the @bridgesformusic academy.
